Location & surroundings

Near the forested crater rim

The highland forest is cool and green, home to elephants, buffalo, and shy leopards that move through the trees. Blue monkeys swing through the branches, while colorful turacos and other forest birds fill the air with sound. Just below the forest, the wide grasslands of the crater floor are home to thousands of grazing animals.
