Where Nature and Culture Embrace

Ngorongoro Safari Lodge is located in the south of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, about 50 kilometers south-west of Karatu town. The lodge is made up of 10 comfortable luxury tents, each built to host 2 guests. Every tent has a private bathroom, comfortable beds, and a quiet veranda.

Guests can see all of the Big Five nearby — lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino — and in the evening, Maasai dance and wilderness talks bring the day to a close.

A Tent Made for Unwinding

Half tent, half stone — warm terracotta walls, leather armchairs and polished timber floors that open onto the bush. Watch buffalo from the balcony in the morning; fall asleep to the sound of the highland forest.

The highland forest is cool and green, home to elephants, buffalo, and shy leopards that move through the trees.

Great location

We spend only 1 night in this lodge: the room is half tent/half stone, very spacious and comfortable with a balcony and an amazing view facing the bush. We spotted some buffalos in the morning.
